Morgan Ersery is a visual artist whose practice is primarily centered around abstract painting, drawing and collage using found imagery and materials. Her work, while based on source material, is open in narrative and explore space, time, memory and nostalgia as a malleable construct.

Morgan was born in Berkeley, California in 1984. As an adolescent, she attended summer programs at Pratt and San Francisco Art Institute before completing her B.A in Visual Arts, Summa Cum Laude, at the University of San Francisco in 2006. During her time in San Francisco, she interned at the Legion of Honor Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco and at Southern Exposure Art Gallery in the Mission. After completing her undergrad, she relocated to New York and earned her MFA from Parsons School of Design. Morgan currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
